Sylvester Stallone On His Latest Action Flick Samaritan, “By This Point In My Career…”

Sylvester “Sly” Stallone, 76 years old and Hollywood’s original action hero, has released his first digital film, Samaritan, and it’s getting positive buzz.

The star of “Rocky” has been a staple of the action genre for the better part of five decades, and his latest film continues that trend.

A 13-year-old boy (Javon Walton) discovers that Sylvester Stallone’s character, Joe, the garbage man, is actually a retired superhero in hiding, and he asks for Joe’s assistance in ridding the city of crime.

In typical Sly fashion, the movie is packed with nail-biting action sequences that are expertly carried out by him throughout the movie. The film’s stunts have a realistic appearance, which contributes to the enhancement of the film’s action.

This is due to the fact that Javon is a professional boxer and Sylvester Stallone is the undisputed “Rocky.” Stallone talked about his time as the superhero Samaritan and how he did the different stunts.

“With the stunts, I always feel that the more I can participate, so that it isn’t a stunt double, the more the audience appreciates it, and the more I like it, too,” says Sylvester Stallone. “With that being said, the more I can participate in the action, the better.”

At this point in my professional life, I ought to have a few medical facilities named after me. But I always train for the film I’m working on, no matter what genre it is; for instance, if it’s a film about mountain climbing, I focus on strengthening my forearms and legs.

According to Sylvester Stallone, “for the Rocky films, it was my lower body and deltoids, things that you’re going to use in that type of film.”

“With Samaritan, it was trying to add some quickness, some mobility,” says Stallone. “[T]he film is based on a comic book.” “I wanted to be less noticeable, so that even if you saw Joe Smith in a crowd, you wouldn’t be able to identify him.” ” That was a very important point to add,” Sylvester Stallone said.

In addition to Sylvester Stallone, Samaritan features an all-star cast that includes notable actors such as Pilou Asbeak, Javon “Wanna” Walton, and Dascha Polanco.

The movie is now available to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
